Our 2026 production of SIX: Teen Edition brought together a dynamic company of teenage performers from across Lincolnshire for a high-energy reimagining of the smash-hit musical. Performed with two alternating casts, the production celebrated powerful storytelling, pop-concert staging, and bold character-driven performances, giving young artists the opportunity to take on principal and ensemble roles within a fully realised theatrical environment.
Produced and directed by Hayley Wensley under Nexus Creative Studios, with Amelia Rose Taylor as Vocal Director and Choreographer, the project combined professional rehearsal processes, live performance experience, and creative development workshops. Performers developed skills in vocal technique, movement, stagecraft, and ensemble collaboration within a supportive, inclusive rehearsal environment that prioritised both wellbeing and artistic excellence.
The production played to enthusiastic audiences and showcased the strength of youth-led theatre in Lincoln, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, resilience, and confidence-building throughout the process.
