SIX Returns to the Stage
Following the success of our 2026 production of SIX: Teen Edition, six of our Queens and two of our Royal Collective, reunited to perform a specially created SIX Medley at Hull New Theatre as part of a regional performing arts showcase.
With a new cast member joining the company and some of the performers stepping into different royal roles, the project provided an exciting opportunity to revisit the music from a fresh perspective while challenging the cast to explore new characters and performance styles.
The event brought the company back together for another unforgettable day of rehearsals, performance and celebration, giving the cast the chance to once again bring the energy, confidence and power of SIX to a professional theatre stage.
Highlights included:
-
A specially created SIX Medley performed at Hull New Theatre
-
Six returning performers reunited from our original production
-
A new cast member welcomed into the company
-
Opportunities for performers to explore new Queen roles and character interpretations
-
Continued development of vocal performance, stagecraft and ensemble skills
-
A memorable day celebrating friendship, growth and the lasting impact of the production
The performance demonstrated how our projects continue beyond the final curtain, creating opportunities for performers to revisit previous work, embrace new creative challenges and represent the company on larger stages.
Produced by Hayley Wensley and Amelia Rose Taylor under Nexus Creative Studios, the pair teamed up once again to produce, choreograph and direct the performance. Building on the success of the original production, they created a fresh, high-energy presentation that celebrated the dedication, versatility and continued development of the company, giving performers the opportunity to return to a professional stage, embrace new roles and bring their royal energy to the stage once more.
